Direct Objects
- Direct objects (DO) are words in a sentence that RECEIVE THE ACTION OF THE VERB.
- Singular direct objects of masculine or feminine nouns that end with -M
- Plural direct objects of masculine or feminine nouns end in -AS, OS or -ES.
- Neuter nouns follow a different pattern, which we will learn later.
- me and te are direct object pronouns (no -m)
Transitive & Intransitive Verbs
- Transitive verbs take a direct object (TV)
- Intransitive Verbs do NOT take a direct object (IT)
Examples:

Sextus Corneliam vexat. Sextus annoys Cornelia.

Vocem Cornelia audit. Cornelia hears the voice.

Sextus ex arbore cadit. Sextus falls from the tree.

Sextus est puer molestus. Sextus is an annoying boy.
